    Ultimate Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings Recipe

    These Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings are perfect for any BBQ or game day! Marinated with fresh lemon zest, black pepper, and garlic, these crispy wings are grilled to perfection and served with a zesty lemon aioli dipping sauce.

     

    Ingredients

    For the Grilled Lemon Pepper Wings:

    2 lbs chicken wings

    2 tbsp olive oil

    1 tbsp lemon zest

    1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper

    1 tsp garlic powder

    Salt, to taste

    Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    For the Lemon Aioli Dipping Sauce:

    1/2 cup mayonnaise

    1 tbsp lemon juice

    1 clove garlic, minced

    Salt and pepper, to taste

    Directions for Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings

    Step 1: Preheat the Grill

    Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, ensuring it’s ready to give the wings a crispy, smoky finish.

    Step 2: Season the Chicken Wings

    In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon zest, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt.

    Add the chicken wings, tossing them in the mixture to ensure they’re fully coated.

    Step 3: Grill the Lemon Pepper Wings

    Place the seasoned wings on the grill. Grill them for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally for even cooking.

    Cook until the wings reach a crispy texture and an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

    Step 4: Prepare the Lemon Aioli

    In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth. Adjust the seasoning if needed for your preferred taste.

    Step 5: Serve and Garnish

    Arrange the grilled lemon pepper wings on a platter.

    Drizzle with additional lemon juice if desired, and garnish with fresh parsley.

    Serve with the homemade lemon aioli for dipping.
